Warm greetings to my dear Students, Parents, Stakeholders and well-wishers of South East Manipur College family. I am honoured to welcome you to be a part of an esteemed and academically rich institute in the rural areas.
The College has been nurturing students of various communities in the State for the last 43 years and many have outshone in various fields. The College has the opportunity to educate the underprivileged students and shape them in such a way that they are able to live a healthy and harmonious life. Our Vision to bring Quality Education for all the students irrespective of caste and creed has enabled us to educate the students on one platform. The College is progressing day by day - Library and Administrative system are automated; CCTV cameras are installed; Computers are available for the use of students and staff of the College; Modern methods of teaching aids are provided in the Departments. Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is actively functioning to uphold our vision. Teachers are well experienced and qualified to help you progress in your academic career; Non-teaching staff are also dedicated and committed to serve the College. Your sincere effort along with the prompt guidance of the teachers will surely enable you to get the blessings and success in your endeavors.

My dear students, as the world is evolving each day with the advancement in Science & Technology, you cannot achieve your goal until you keep pace with the changing world. Therefore, you need to break the ice, participate in every field, be adventurous, equipped yourself with proper knowledge, habits, and attitudes; and shape your behaviour and give importance to holistic development.
 National Cadet Corps(NCC) for Girls under 65Manipur Girls Battalion was opened in the year 2020.Girl students can make use of the opportunity to be a part of it and the awarded grades will be helpful in your career. National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has been implemented from the academic session 2022-23 and will enlighten your knowledge through various skill development programmes in the opted courses. National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit I & II is opened in the College where, students have the opportunity to extend community social services as a part of serving the nation and mold themselves to be a good human in life. The College has adopted 5(Five) villages under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan to work with the people of rural areas and uplift them by identifying the challenges they face.
By God’s grace, the College is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore in the 1st Cycle with B-Grade with a CGPA of 2.35 on 16th September,2016 and in the 2nd Cycle with B ++ Grade with a CGPA of 2.80 on 14th February, 2023.
The College organizes Seminars/workshops and awareness programmes on various issues. Do participate and share your views and learn to enhance your knowledge. Be regular in your classes and make maximum use of the time spent in the College to gain knowledge and achieve your goal. Sincerity, punctuality, discipline and hard work are the keys to success. Believe in yourself, do good to others, do your best and God will do the rest.
