Unnat Bharat Abhiyan
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions. The UBA Cell for South East Manipur College was formed on the 27th February 2023. The college eventually registered for this program after going through intensive training sessions that NIT Manipur arranged for UBA Manipur.
Vision: To work towards the upliftment of the rural areas in the vicinity of the college.
Mission:
- To encourage the villages to develop eco-friendly technologies using the available local resources.
- To generate employment opportunities by utilising the local resource.
- To build a relationship with the adopted villages and contribute in the development planning of the village.
- It also aims to identify and record the various challenges of the villages while providing opportunities to the students to gain practical research skills.
